  • Developing a Network Traffic Anomaly detection tool in CUDA on a Jetson-TK1. 
  • Used Rabin Karp algorithm for signature matching to detect if malicious content was present anywhere in the payload.
  • Experimented two approaches: thread level parallelism, block level parallelism with more speedup and less warp divergence.

Port Scan detection and defense using Software Defined Networks


  • Performed Horizontal and Vertical Port Scan attack. Firewall , OFSwitchManager and Forwarding modules were modified in the SDN controller.  
  • Flow rules were added using cURL Rest client.
    Good and bad traffic generation scripts were written using Python.
  • Developer Tools: Java based Floodlight Controller,Mininet, nMAP

 

Game Development Application 

 

  • Multi-threaded server was designed to provide concurrency, high scalability and availability.
  • CPU Utilization, Network Packet In and Network Packet Out were monitored on AWS resources using Cloud Watch.

Web Based Hospital Management System using PHP and MySQL

 

  • Main modules were Patient Registration, Appointment Scheduling ,Resource Allocation, Pharmaceuticals,Billing and Payments.
